About Joel Shasteen

Joel Shasteen, a dedicated real estate agent and family man, is all about helping his clients live their best lives –just like he feels he is! A former Greenville newcomer, Joel enjoys working with families and individuals who are relocating here and sharing his enthusiasm for his now beloved hometown. Joel and his wife Mallory, moved to Greenville from Washington DC in 2016, after touring mid-size cities around Atlanta to find the best place to raise their family. Eight years and three kids later, the Shasteen’s are happily rooted and can’t imagine living anywhere else. Highly personable and a great listener, Joel excels at helping his clients find just what they are looking for in both a home and desirable location. He keeps up on Greenville’s latest developments and has invested a lot of personal time researching and exploring the Upstate’s many wonderful options. A high-energy, avid DIY’R, Joel has built two homes and renovated two others in the last six years. He’s able to offer insightful renovation/ construction advice, identify potential repairs and structural issues and provide realistic estimating and home pricing to aid clients in their decision making. One of the homes Joel built is a rental property at Lake Hartwell and as such, he’s known for finding great second homes or investment opportunities for his clients on SC’s Upstate lakes. A very involved father who teaches Sunday School, coaches multiple kids sports,  and is an assistant Cubmaster, Joel has community-wide connections that he is able to leverage to help you find just the right buyer or seller.
