Ask a newcomer where Travelers Rest happens on a Saturday and they'll point at Main Street. Ask someone who's lived here two summers and they'll point half a mile east, to a 20-acre patch at 235 Trailblazer Drive. Between April and October, Trailblazer Park is the town's social operating system. Everything else on your weekend is a satellite.
That's the pattern worth knowing this July and August. Once you see the calendar as one venue with a rotating cast, the season stops feeling like a scramble of individual events and starts feeling like a rhythm you can settle into.
The Trailblazer stack, July through August
The park hosts three overlapping series in any given summer week: the Saturday morning farmers market, the Friday night movie, and a handful of festival-scale drop-ins. Here is the shape of the next several weekends.
| Date | Event | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Every Saturday through Sept 19 | TR Farmers Market, presented by Prisma Health | 8:30 am–12:00 pm |
| Every Friday, summer | Outdoor movie series, pet-friendly | 7:00 pm start |
| July 25 | 8th annual Tomato Sandwich Taste Off | 9:00–11:30 am |
| August 15 | Staycation Saturday (Caribbean food, beach-themed market) | 8:30 am–12:00 pm |
| Late summer | Community Tap Beer & Cider Festival, with wine added for 2026 | 2:00 pm (1:00 pm Early Entry) |
The market itself is not the small folding-table affair it was a decade ago.
